ServicesMidsize Jet Charter

Midsize Jet Charter in Mooresville

Seven to nine passengers, an enclosed lavatory and enough range to cross most of the country without stopping. We pick the aircraft around your group and bags, settle the small details that shape the flight, then put every cost into a single all-inclusive figure.

When a midsize jet is the right aircraft

Midsize jets fill the gap between compact light jets and the roomier super-midsize class. Common examples include the Citation XLS, Hawker 800 series, Learjet 60 and Citation Latitude. Their cabins hold seven to nine passengers, carry noticeably more luggage than a light jet and usually include an enclosed lavatory. On a few models the cabin is tall enough to stand in, or very nearly.

It is the sensible choice when a light jet would feel cramped or need a fuel stop, but a heavy jet would be more aircraft than the trip needs. A team flying from central Indiana to a client in Texas, or a family heading to Florida with golf bags and a dog, fits this class well.

The difference between a good flight and a tiring one is usually in the small things: the right cabin layout, baggage that actually fits, and a departure time the crew can legally fly. We work through those before you ever see a quote.

What your midsize charter includes

An aircraft matched to your passengers

We look at head count, bag sizes and trip length, then suggest specific aircraft. If a Latitude's flat floor matters more to you than a Hawker's longer cabin, we say so plainly and price both.

Point to point pricing

You pay for the trip you take. One-way travelers never pay round trip pricing, and there are no long term commitments to sign.

An all-inclusive quote

Fuel, crew, landing and FBO fees, taxes and expected repositioning sit in one figure. No hidden costs appear after the flight.

Cabin details settled early

Before departure we settle catering and seating and check that the aircraft carries WIFI. Pets are welcome on board, and the operator hears about them in advance so the crew can prepare the cabin.

Crew and timing checks

Before we confirm, we check the crew's duty limits against your departure and return, so a long meeting does not leave you waiting for a fresh crew.

Help around the clock

Plans change late at night and on weekends. You can reach us by phone at any hour to rework a departure or find an aircraft on short notice.

Signs your trip calls for a midsize jet

Your group is more than six
Light jets usually top out around six or seven seats, and full ones leave little room for bags. Seven to nine passengers is where a midsize cabin starts to make sense.
Your leg is longer than two hours
Past the two-hour mark, a private lavatory and room to shift position make a real difference in how rested you feel when the door opens.
You want to skip the fuel stop
A midsize jet can reach both coasts nonstop on many routes from central Indiana, where a light jet might need to land on the way.
You are carrying real luggage
Golf clubs, ski bags, sample cases or a week of family luggage fit far more easily in a midsize baggage hold.
You need to work in the air
A quieter, roomier cabin with WIFI lets a team prepare together instead of sitting knee to knee.

How a midsize charter comes together

  1. 1

    A call about your trip

Tell us dates, passengers, pets and baggage. We ask about the small things too, like whether anyone needs a flat floor or a particular snack.

  2. 2

    Aircraft options and your quote

We return with specific aircraft, their cabin features and one all-inclusive price for each, so the comparison is honest.

  3. 3

    Confirmation and final details

Once you choose, we confirm the tail number, crew, catering and FBO. You receive the departure details and where to park.

  4. 4

    Flight day

Arrive at the FBO shortly before departure, hand your bags to the crew and board. There is no terminal line, and we stay reachable by phone until you land.

What shapes the price of a midsize jet

Midsize charter is priced by flight time, not by seat, so the route and the aircraft matter most. Your quote is all-inclusive and point to point, but it helps to know what moves the number before you call.

Flight hours and aircraft
Longer routes cost more, and newer cabins like the Latitude generally price above older models. We show you both when the trade-off is worth weighing.
Repositioning
If the nearest suitable jet sits elsewhere, its flight to your departure airport may be part of the cost. Flexible timing sometimes lets us avoid it.
Overnights and crew waiting time
Flying out and back within one day is usually the most economical plan. Trips that span several days add hotel rooms for the crew and aircraft parking at your destination.
Season and winter weather
Holiday weeks and big event weekends tighten availability. In an Indiana winter, de-icing before departure can add a fee, and we include an estimate for it.
Airport and FBO fees
Landing and handling fees vary by airport. We choose the FBO that suits your schedule and keeps those charges reasonable.

Common midsize jet questions

How many passengers can a midsize charter take?
The certified seat count generally falls between seven and nine, based on the model and cabin layout. Comfort is another matter, set by luggage and flight time. For a long leg with a full hold, we often suggest booking one or two fewer than the maximum.
Is there standing room in the cabin?
That varies by aircraft. A few, such as the Citation Latitude, have a flat floor and about six feet of headroom, while others call for a slight stoop. If standing up matters, say so and we will quote only aircraft that allow it.
Is there a restroom on a midsize jet?
Almost every one has an enclosed lavatory, a big reason groups move up from a light jet. We check the exact layout of your aircraft before you book.
Is my dog allowed to come?
Yes, pets are allowed on our charters. During the call, tell us how many are flying and their approximate size, and we will clear it with the operator so the crew can prepare the cabin.
Should I pay more for a midsize jet instead of a light jet?
With four people on a short flight, a light jet tends to be the better value, and we will say so. As the group gets bigger or the route spans several states, a midsize jet's added room and range often earn the extra cost. For a group near ten or a coast-to-coast trip, super-midsize jet charter may suit you better.
